S2 E6: Nobody Puts Paigey in the Corner

In this week's episode, the Explorers Troop 301 take a backseat as Paige takes centerstage We find out what's been happening to Paige as she's been held prisoner by King Huxley, and it will likely surprise no one that she's taking matters into her own hands But when she comes across another inhabitant of the castle, will it be a friend or foe? This is by far the most difficult puzzle we've had in the show's run The solution is an anagram of "SEEK THICKET RIM." The key is really in the -ICK sound That might help crack it If your child is too young to read, or just beginning, you can also talk about anagrams in terms of sounds That may not help solve this puzzle, but it may help with understanding anagrams and how words fit together One more clue, in white text Highlight if you want to see it: It's three words, the second word is "three." And after playing around with the letters for a while, you can always use an internet anagram solver (it's not cheating if you've given it an honest try)

What is the strange object found by one of the friendly Patiens? And most importantly: WHAT IS MY ROBOT'S NAME? All of these questions will be answered in today's episode

With the Marlowe still recovering from the monster attack, Finn and his friends get into a little mischief aboard the station But that all comes to an end when they're sent on their first exploring mission, to a planet they've been told will be peaceful, quiet, and maybe even a little bit boring The good (bad) news is that their visit turns anything but boring

After narrowly avoiding a very serious conflict with our introduction robot, we return to the action aboard the Marlowe Finn and Abigail have to face off against three monster invaders Will they be able to do it?

Halloween Special Bonus Episode

Today's episode takes a break from the regular Finn Caspian storyline to tell a short, spooky story for Halloween Every year the Marlowe throws the best Halloween party in the universe But this year, an uninvited guest causes some trouble for the Explorers (especially Voltronix Zu) For parents: There's nothing about this story that's particularly scary compared to other Finn stories, but the ghost's voice is maybe a little creepy So it might be worth giving it a listen or testing it out first And if you want to pick up on the kid-lit reference in today's story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving is available for free here The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian is a Typedrawer Media production, and is a serialized story podcasts for kids ages 5-10, though this one isn't so serialized
